Association of California Water Agencies Joint Powers Insurance Authority (ACWA JPIA): President’s Special Recognition Award
SGCWD is proud to be commended for its dedication to employee safety with recognition from ACWA JPIA, our insurance provider, for our low number of workers’ compensation, property and liability claims filed between 2021 and 2024.
Keeping claims low reduces insurance rates for SGCWD and those savings are passed along to all District customers. The honor continues a tradition of excellence at SGCWD, which has received the ACWA JPIA President’s Special Recognition Award in each of the three categories since 2014.
